Poor Guy

Today Keydran got his first FAT lip. He was trying to stand up to Kaiyenna's bed, and his hand slipped and he fell and hit his lip in the edge of her bed, not only that, but he hit his lip so hard he actually bounced back and hit the back of his head on the floor. At first I didn't even know he was bleeding, and then he kept rubbing his lower lip on his upper lip and blood started gushing out and I thought we were gonna have to take him to get stitches. But right before I called the Doctor, he had already clotted. I ended up calling my sister instead, just in case. She has 3 boys, and it saved time on the whole doctor phone call, leave a message, call you back an hours later process. He also got a bruise that goes across his cheek too, it just a thin line from the very corner of Kaiyenna's bed. He was actually pretty tough. He didn't cry for too long and he's been eating normal. He's such a trooper. I love my little guy so much!Then later tonight, I was trying to find a good recipe online for dinner, well in the mean time, Kaiyenna decided to move Keydran's high chair to the counter and climb up it to get to the Banana's. She LOVES bananas, she would eat an entire bunch if I let her. You'd think she was a monkey with the way she climbs on things to get to banana's!! Joey's in eye view of her, why he chose to tell me after she had climbed on the counter ate the banana. And, why he didn't just get up and get her himself. You ask.... He's been hypnotized by the olympics. So after Joey tells me she's on the counter eating a banana, I hurry down stairs to put her in "time out"...doesn't work very well for that one. I start talking to her, telling her that she's not allowed on the counter and that she can't get into whatever she wants when ever she wants and if she needs or wants something, to ask first. blah blah blah. Well, She started to argue with me in her jibberish talk. I was trying SO hard not to laugh. But what do you do? She was up in my face and everything....you jinxed me dad. I did end up putting her in "time out" just so I could get her mess cleaned up so I could start dinner. Which took a lot longer than I had planned on. So after I got dinner done. Oven fried chicken with mashed potatoes. We finally got to sit down and eat. Kaiyenna only liked the mashed potatoes, and she's a really messy eater, she refuses to use a spoon or fork, so she uses her hands, sometimes she'll ask for help, but that doesn't last very long. After getting it all over her hands, she tried to "shake it off" and some got in her hair and Joey says, "Oh no don't do that, you're making a mess...ah, now it's in your hair." As soon as Kaiyenna heard the word hair, her hands went immediately into her hair and she started rubbing the potatoes into her hair like shampoo. It was really funny, but gross. She is so crazy. But I love her to death.
