It's been a while... yes I know

Sorry for my slacking. It's been like a month since I lasted blogged. Well, to get caught up... here are a few things we've been up to this month. We celebrated Joey's 28th birthday earlier this month... happy belated birthday on the blog babe. Love you smuch,  I've been doing a lot of research lately. I went to beauty school when I was in high school and a little after I graduated. Well, I had to get a job, so I chose that, over beauty school... I kind of got overwhelmed doing both, so I dropped out. Well, going back and finishing has been in the back of my mind for the last year or so, so, I finally did what I had to do to get back into it. After looking at a couple of different schools I've mad my decision. I'm hoping to start on the 5th of January going to night classes at Paul Mitchell the School. I'm very excited! Since I have some hours from before. It will only take me half the time to finish. 

I recently did something very brave. After being platinum blonde and the going back dark, my hair was soooo unhealthy and hard to grow out and even style, My color was fading really fast too.  So... it was time to CUT. IT. ALL. OFF. It already feels so much more healthy.....

It's very easy to style and not as time consuming to blow dry. My hair is very thick. Anyways... It's definitely a change, but I think It's a good one. Also, this week we had Joey's work christmas party. And Santa was there. Both of my children were a little unsure about him. But I'm sure that will change in the years to come! The party was at a place called Noah's. It has an ice skating rink on the top. It was sorta scary, I haven't skated in over 6-7 years, so I was a little rusty, not that I was really good before.

Well, that's pretty much what we've been up to. Sorry it took me so long to blog. I'll try and be better about it. But, I can't promise anything. 

Thanksgiving Point

We went to Thanksgiving Point on Thursday, with my sisters and their kids. It was so much fun! Kaiyenna had a blast. And she loved the animals! She likes to talk to them and tell them "hi." Here's Kaiyenna with her cousins London and Sawyeer, trying to feed the donkey...she dropped all the corn before it actually got to his mouth. So she didn't really get to feed him which is okay...he bites

most of the time, so it worked out. Besides the pink. oh well!

After the animal farm, we went and got some lunch at Iceberg!

I think Kaiyenna liked playing with her food more than she did eating it.

Actually, she ate really well! She usually doesn't.

Then we headed back to the dino museum.

...Then we got to the water sand/salt pit,

We ended the tour with a fun time in the sand,

trying to find dinosaur bones.

Keydarn didn't like the feel of the sand at first,

but then he got use to it,

and he was interested in the brush more than anything.

...and Kaiyenna had more fun laying in it!

Then she started throwing the sand. Thank goodness it was time for us to go. Kaiyenna fell a sleep in the car on our way home, She was so tired, but she had so much fun! It was such a blast! Thanks Tiff and Tris. And Ang, thanks for the pass! Really saves in $$ department. I love you guys.

Funny Story

Okay so check this out. I went to my best friend Kim's baby shower today! It was really fun. It started at 10am and went to 1pm. I actually didn't get there until ike 11:30ish. Funny story. I haven't seen Kim in over a year, So we got to talkin and I lost track of time. Yeah, it was 8ish when I left. But the whole time I wonder why Joey never called, and I thought it was cause he wanted me to visit cause I haven't seen Kim in 4ever. But then I got a call from his mom. She told me that Joey has been trying to get a hold of me. I was like, thats funny cause my phone hasn't rang once. And she goes...um you have his phone. WHAT. He left it in the diaper bag from the night before and it got buried to the bottom and was covered. Whats funny, Is I called him just as I left my house this morning to tell him something. I didn't even hear it ring when I called it, so obviously it went to voicemail, and I left him a message. Anyway, the whole time at Kim's I thought he was being very sweet and patient that he decided to not go into work today so I could visit with Kim. But that whole time he's sitting at home sweating nervously waiting for my arrival home. But how did Joey did get a hold of me with no phone. How did he get a hold of anyone with out a phone? Well, he logged onto facebook and his cousin Sheila happened to be online, so Joey told Sheila to call his little sister Sofi and have Sofi call me. I didn't realize the stress I caused my husband. But it's nice to know I have such a wonderful, caring husband who truly loves me. On a brighter note, while visiting I showed Kim and her younger brother the funniest picture of Keydran. I took it with my cell phone an I don't have the special miniSD card...yet. Or text messaging. So I haven't been able to put it on the computer. Well Kim's little brother happened to have miniSD card. So we put the SD card in my phone, got the picture, then put the picture on his phone and then he e-mailed it to me from his phone. Then I put the picture back on my phone! Hooray. Thank-you Landon. So the point of this story is to show you the funniest picture.

erytime I see it. There are some really cute photos and videos on both mine and Joey's phones. This coming week I'm hoping to buy a miniSD card and an SD card converter thing. (Since we don't have text messaging.) I looked online and they are not as expensive as I thought. They're like $30 together, pretty inexpensive if you ask me. As soon as I get the card and converter I'll be putting videos and pictures on my computer, So Look forward to some great photos and videos. I'll for sure be putting the original video of Kaiyenna saying "Phone" on here. Way better quality. And it won't look so much like Blair Witch project. I'm very excited.

What a weekend.

We started off our weekend with the baptism of our friend, Nephi. Morgan, Nephi's wife, asked my sister Angela to sing, but Angie didn't want to sing by herself so she asked me to join her, with my brother Braden playing the guitar.

Well I had my Brook White moment with forgetting the lyrics and starting over again. After the restart we did pretty good. Angie was going to introduce me as Brook White to break the ice, but she decided not to. I enjoyed singing even though, according to Joey, I turned ghost white while I sang. I get nervous I guess.

On saturday we went to Kneaders and had their all you can eat french toast. (not every Kneaders, just the one in Herriman.) With Joey's little sister Cassie and her man slave Eric. After that we went shopping. We were in serious need of food. So we went to Smith's. After that Joey dropped me at home with the kids so he could go to Costco and fill our car with water. I cleaned out the whole fridge. It was kind of dirty. As I got done with that I started to feel a migraine coming on. So after Joey got home I went up stairs to try and sleep it off. After about a 1/2 hour I woke up to the sound of Keydran screaming to eat. As I go down stairs I see my poor husband exhausted and frustrated on the couch holding screaming Keydran. I go in the kitchen to find Kaiyenna ON the table. How she got on there...? It's one of those high tables and chairs. My head was pounding, so I took Keydran while I had Joey take care of the little monkey. As I fed Keydran, Joey put Kaiyenna in time out. And Then took his frustration out on putting the rest of the groceries away. After I was done nursing, I felt the urge to vomit. So I ran into the bathroom. Feeling quite better afterward. My headache seemed to have gone away after that, giving me an appetite. Which was nice. All I had eaten that day was breakfast. And I needed food. That was a good way to end the night. Sunday morning came and my headache started to come back. So I took some Ibuprofen and drank some coke, it was gone before I knew it. I was very grateful, I really wanted to go to church. I hadn't been for a while. The week before I was riding home from St. George and the week before that I was up in the hospital with Kaiyenna. So after arriving to church...5 mins late, we had to sit in the second row, for everywhere else was full. Kaiyenna was so funny. She was mimicking the music leader by waving her arm in the air. But that didn't hold her attention long and before I knew it, I was wondering the halls with her. After a few minutes, the classes from the other ward were letting out and the hall were filling up with people. Kaiyenna go excited and started running down the hall. She kind of lost her balance and fell. Hurrying to get up, she started running, she must not have been paying attention to the boy a couple of feet in front of her and ran right into him and bounced back a few inches. It was really funny. Everyone was all right of course. Finally sacrament was over and we took Kaiyenna to nursery. Excited to play with the toys, she went with out a fuss, or even a goodbye kiss. Off to sunday school Joey and I went. I was nursing Keydran in the mothers room for most of that. I got Keydran to sleep for the last 5 minutes of sunday school and the first few minutes of Relief Society. After his little power nap he woke up with a ton of energy. I put him on the ground to kick for a while, them he got fussy cause he had to fart. So, I put him on my lap to help him. He then tried to kick himself so his head was hanging upside down off my knees. So I put him upside down holding him against my stomach. I felt in better control that way. But anytime I put him right side up he would start crying, So I would put him upside down again and he would start laughing. It was funny. Church was good and I really enjoy going. It's nice to have a life out side of babies, and to talk to people. All in all, it was a pretty good weekend, besides the vomiting part. Thats never good.

New computer and internet!

Today I post my very first blog! We finally got internet set up. I can communicate with the out side world with out using my minutes up. Wonderful! We have been without internet for about a year, occasionally we would use the internet and Joey's parents house. We actually got a new computer too. I know crazy. We are totally out of date. Someone told us that her 3 year old daughter had her own laptop, we are so out of date. Yeah okay, I don't want to be that "in". It was a very crazy day today with getting everything set up. Last night My visiting teachers called to say they were stopping by around 10:30-11:00 am. While she was calling, the comcast guy left a message saying he would be stopping by around 9:30am. I thought it would work out. Yeah I thought wrong. They happend to show up within 5 mins of each other. My visiting teachers had there kids with them. So it was pretty crazy.
