American Idol

Okay, so some of you know that Joey and I auditioned for American Idol on Tuesday the 29th of July! Well we didn't make it through the 1st round of Judges...our voices weren't strong enough and our performance lacked something they were looking for. I couldn't hear what they said. Oh Well. At least we can say we tried out. It was the longest most boring process I've ever experienced. Plus, I was going on 20 minutes of sleep. And I've been trying to catch up on all that missed sleep this week and thats why this post is kind of late. Ryan Seacrest ended up showing up about an hour and a half after we got inside the Arena. Which no one expected because of the shark bite he got no too long ago! So it was quite a surprise! I didn't get a very good picture because we were far a way. We asked the website photographer to take a picture of us specifically for Nigel Lithgow...we did the "So you Think you can Dance" hand thing they always do! We'll see if it ends up on the "American Idol" website. Probably not :(

While we were waiting to go inside the Arena Joey got to sing on the Radio! Pretty cool!!!! If at all possible, depending on money and location, I'll be auditioning next year. I'm sad to say that Joey will not be. He would have to make it into the Top 10 to get paid and if not he would have to go all those weeks with out pay from work, and would probably get fired anyways, and it's not something he's willing to risk. So Wish me luck and feel free to help me with my performance so it's judge worthy. I might refuse at first, but just give me a little nudge! and anyone with voice coaching tips feel free to leave a comment! Thanks!
